King Slime

While technically a boss, King Slime is more of a mini-boss, posing a manageable threat, even for lower-level players. However, it's important to note that this encounter doesn't yield soul points.

King Slime Location

King Slime spawns after 100 Slimes are defeated on the server. It will appear near the city closest to the last slain slime's location. A notice on the Quest Board announces the King Slime quest, which consists of two steps: find and kill the King Slime. This quest has a 30-minute global server cooldown.

King Slime Fighting Strategy

King Slime boasts 400 HP (600 HP if Corrupted), the lowest of any boss. Its primary attack involves summoning more Slimes, which can overwhelm players if not dealt with swiftly. It also employs AOE poison attacks; therefore, ample potions and cleansing abilities are recommended. Its low health makes the battle relatively straightforward. Focus on eliminating the summoned Slimes before concentrating your attacks on the King Slime itself. Its AOE attacks only inflict poison, not direct damage, providing opportunities for counterattacks.

AttacksEnergy CostEffect
**Slime Creation**1Summons a Slime to fight for King Slime.
**Crush**0King Slime lunges forward, attacking a party member.
**Poison Eruption**2King Slime throws out a burst of Acid, poisoning your party. This attack cannot be dodged or blocked.
**Scalding Spray**3King Slime erupts with boiling hot liquid, poisoning your party. This attack cannot be dodged.

King Slime Drops and Rewards

Defeating King Slime yields these possible drops:

  • Random Tier 1 Equipment
  • Slime Buckler
  • Gelat Ring

Completing the King Slime event from the Quest Board offers these rewards:

  • Ferrus Skin
  • Potion
  • Small Health Potion
  • Essence
  • Gold

Yar’thul, the Blazing Dragon

This fire-type boss utilizes fire and inferno-based attacks, inflicting Inferno and Burning status effects. Resistance to fire and physical damage, coupled with weakness to Hex damage, defines its combat profile.

Yar’thul Location

Yar’thul resides deep within Mount Thul, an active volcano in the heart of the desert.

Yar’thul Fighting Strategy

Yar’thul possesses 1200 HP (1800 HP if Corrupted) and deals substantial damage. Most attacks inflict Inferno and Burning, making it a race against time. Upon reaching 50% health, it enters a second phase, summoning meteors that stun and reduce healing. The Dragon Ring and Pristine-level accessories significantly ease this battle. The Corrupted version gains lifesteal.

AttacksEnergy CostEffect
**Inferno**0Automatically inflicted at the start, causing the Inferno status effect. Undodgeable.

It's highly vulnerable to Holy damage (135% damage). Below 50% health, it unleashes a devastating attack inflicting Plague, Curse, and Hexed (15-turn cooldown).

Phase 1 involves destroying its wings to reduce damage negation, while Phase 2 changes the wing mechanics to Offensive and Defensive modes.
