The inaugural game of the Naruto: Path of the Ninja series, Naruto: Konoha Ninpōchō, launched in 2003, is exclusively available in Japan for the Bandai WonderSwan Color. This handheld console, released in 1999, never made it outside Japan, much like the game itself. The storyline delves into the Land of Waves arc, enriched with additional missions undertaken by Team 7.

2. Naruto: Konoha Senki (2003)

Naruto: Konoha Senki, also exclusive to Japan, was released in the same year and developed by Tomy for the Game Boy Advance. The game encapsulates the first 70 episodes of the series, covering the Land of Waves and Chūnin Exams arcs. Despite being the third game in the series, Naruto: Path of the Ninja was developed by Tomy and hit the shelves in 2004. Originally designed for the Nintendo DS in Japan, it was later adapted for the Game Boy Advance and released globally.
