Instead of relying on traditional colors, the new decks utilize distinct shapes (squares, triangles, circles, and stars) to represent colors, ensuring clear differentiation for colorblind players. This inclusive feature is easily enabled through in-game avatar settings.
This initiative aims to broaden accessibility for the estimated 300 million colorblind individuals worldwide. The consistent shape system across all three games simplifies the learning curve. Mattel163 plans to expand colorblind accessibility to 80% of its game portfolio by 2025.
The games themselves offer familiar gameplay: Uno! Mobile replicates the classic card-discarding game; Phase 10: World Tour focuses on phase completion speed; and Skip-Bo Mobile provides a unique solitaire experience.
