- Location services must be enabled for the SmartTyre Car & Bike app. The app does not use GPS; it uses Bluetooth LE to locate the sensors. Continued background GPS use can reduce battery life. SmartTyre Car & Bike only uses background GPS when you explicitly enable optional features requiring this functionality.
