How to Survive All Monsters in *Pressure*
Below, you'll find strategies for defeating every monster in Pressure. Some are random encounters, others are node monsters following specific paths, and some, like The DiVine, inhabit specific areas. I'll detail how to handle each, highlighting key cues to help you find safety.
Pandemonium

Flickering lights signal Pandemonium's approach. Don't rush to hide; instead, position yourself near a locker. Listen for its roar. Pandemonium instantly kills anyone in its line of sight who isn't in a locker. Entering a locker triggers a minigame: keep your cursor centered as the locker shakes. Survive the minigame, survive Pandemonium.
Good People
Good People spawns in rooms with dead-end doors—one is a fake. Entering the fake door results in an instant death. Here's how to identify the fake:
- Audio Cues: Listen closely near doors for breathing, growling, sparks, or faint scanlines on the navi-path sign.
- Dark Rooms: In dark rooms, the navi-path screen for fake doors remains lit; real doors are dark.
- HQ Messages: If HQ directs you down a specific path without highlighting the wrong one, prioritize checking for fake doors.
Eyefestation
This shark-like monster appears in rooms overlooking the ocean. Avoid eye contact; looking out the window drains your health. Simply leave the room to despawn it.
Squiddles

Turn off your light when you see Squiddles and avoid close proximity. They appear in dark rooms. Turning off your light allows you to safely pass.
Locker Void-Mass
These slimes spawn randomly in lockers. Entering an infested locker causes damage and traps you. Check for purple slime before entering. Trapped players take continuous damage until rescued or killed.
Wall Dweller
These spawn in walls, emerging unexpectedly to instantly kill. Listen for out-of-sync footsteps. Turning around causes them to retreat. If one attacks a teammate, approach and assist in killing it. Note that The Angler (see below) will kill Wall Dwellers, leaving behind a health-restoring meat chunk.
Redeemer and Hanger

Finding the Redeemer revolver starts a minigame with the Hanger. Rapidly mash the E (Interact) key to resist the Hanger's influence. Success results in shooting the Hanger; failure leads to self-harm or being stabbed for 20 damage.
Candlebearers & Candlebrutes

Candlebearers are stunned by light but don't shine for more than 3 seconds; they'll become enraged. Sporadically shining light slows them down. Candlebrutes are faster and only slowed by light; shine for up to 5 seconds before they become enraged.
The Angler

Briefly flickering lights signal The Angler's arrival. Hide in a nearby locker. They only spawn in rooms with lockers. Failing to hide results in instant death.
Pinkie
Pinkie is similar to The Angler, but without the light flicker warning. A screech indicates its approach; hide in a locker.
Froger
Froger mirrors The Angler (flickering lights, screech), but it rebounds after reaching the end of its path, so be ready to hide again.
Chainsmoker
The Chainsmoker (flickering lights, rattling chains) emits green smoke before entering a room, forcing you out of lockers. Hide when your screen shakes.
Blitz
Blitz is the fastest variant (screech, roar). Hide when you hear its roar.
Bottomfeeder
This Dredge-specific monster attacks in water. Use dry surfaces to evade. If caught, a minigame (mashing Q and E) allows escape.
The DiVine

These Oxygen Gardens monsters are non-hostile unless you step on grass. Avoid grass patches to stay safe. They sometimes combine with other monsters (e.g., Eyefestation), requiring simultaneous avoidance strategies.
