A Powerful Chess Engine: Master the Game Across 20 Levels!
This robust chess program offers 20 levels of play, catering to players from beginners to grandmasters. It's considered one of the strongest chess engines ever developed, adhering to all official chess rules, including stalemate, insufficient material, the fifty-move rule, and threefold repetition.
Challenge yourself: Strong players should aim for levels 16-20, while beginners (levels 1-10) can enhance their game stability, focus, and concentration.
Gameplay:
- Making Moves: Tap a piece to highlight available moves, then tap your chosen move.
- Starting a New Game: Select "Computer," choose a level and color, and begin playing.
- Playing from a Specific Position: Set up your desired position, select "Computer," choose a level, and play.
- Computer Plays Both Sides: Set up your position, select "Computer," choose "BothSides," and select a level.
Enhance Your Skills:
Solve over 460 built-in chess puzzles to sharpen your skills. Viewing ads unlocks three additional puzzles and enables move hints (perfect for learning) and the undo feature. A paid, ad-free version, Deep Chess, is also available.
Game Analysis:
To analyze a game, input both sides' moves, tap "Reset," save the game, load it, and utilize the hint button (unlocked by viewing ads).
Advanced Features:
- PolyGlot Opening Books: Support for PolyGlot (.bin) opening books is included. Download a book to your SD card's Downloads or Documents folder, then tap "Files" -> "Add Book" to load it. Using an opening book significantly improves performance at higher levels.
- PGN Export: Export saved games as PGN files to your SD card's Downloads folder.
