Kuro Games has just unveiled the details of Wuthering Waves' eagerly awaited update, Version 2.1, titled "Waves Sing, and the Cerulean Bird Calls," which is slated for release on February 13th. This update promises to enhance the game with the introduction of new Resonators, weapons, regions, and a variety of events. The expansion will broaden the horizons of Ragunna City and its surroundings, offering players fresh narratives, challenges, and exploration opportunities.
At the forefront of the Version 2.1 update are two new five-star Resonators, Phoebe and Brant, who are set to revolutionize the battlefield with their unique combat styles. Accompanying them are new weapons, including the five-star Luminous Hymn and Unflickering Valor. Players can also get their hands on the four-star Ocean's Gift by engaging in a fishing-themed event located on the Riccioli Islands.
For those who relish the thrill of exploration, the update introduces Vault Underground and the Riccioli Islands. The Vault, situated beneath the Sea of Clouds, serves as a secure storage area, while the Riccioli Islands preserve the traditions of Rinascita's past, contrasting sharply with Ragunna's organized structure.
These new areas enrich the lore of Wuthering Waves, complemented by new stories like Brant's Companion Story, "Sail Day, Captain!," which delves into his background, and the "Silent as a Falling Leaf" Exploration Quest, which uncovers more mysteries of Ragunna. Players will also face new dangers through encounters with fresh Echoes, such as "Rage Against the Statue" and "Aero Prism."
The update also brings a slew of limited-time events. "Old Man and the Whale" invites players to embark on a quest for rare fish, while "Apex Ragunna" aligns with the Carnevale festival, opening new sections of the Water City.
