To unlock this seal, you'll need to gather four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here's a detailed guide on how to obtain each item and successfully unlock the Fire Seal.
Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria
The Faceted Rock Gem is a rare artifact located within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure you're running the latest game version, then navigate through the mines to reach Floors 50-59. We discovered the gem on Floor 56 after some diligent digging. To find it, use your pickaxe or shovel to dig in marked areas on the ground. Be prepared to spend time searching, as this gem is not easy to come by.
Where to Find Rockroot in Fields of Mistria
Rockroot is a common forageable item found between Floors 50-59 in the mines. If you're a regular miner, you might already have this in your inventory. Look for a dark, root-like plant as shown in the image above. You'll only need one Rockroot to complete the Priestess' altar.
Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria
Emeralds are relatively easy to find among the offerings for the Fire Seal. You can mine Emerald geodes on Floors 50-59, or break large boulders scattered around Mistria. They're also available at Balor's Wagon for just 200 tesserae. If you've unlocked the Stone Refinery with the March 2025 update, you can craft Emeralds yourself, saving time on the search.
How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria
The Sealing Scroll is the final item needed to unlock the Fire Seal. This item is part of a quest that starts after you meet Juniper and discover the seal. You'll need to recruit Balor to obtain the scroll, but it comes with a cost. To acquire the Sealing Scroll, you must provide:
- x10 Silver Ingots
- x10 Rubies
- x10 Sapphires
- x10 Emeralds
If you're short on any of these, you can find them in the mines. Once you have the required items, deposit them in the bin by Balor's Wagon to receive the Sealing Scroll.
Unlocking the Fire Seal
With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your inventory, return to Floor 60 of the mines to make your offering. This action will unlock the Fire Seal, revealing a new biome and additional content during Early Access.
