Unlocking characters in *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* involves using items called Prototype Analyzers, which are essential for accessing new characters, except for DLC characters that are unlocked through purchase. BlazBlue Entropy Effect: How To Unlock Characters

The player character and janitor look into an abyss in BlazBlue Entropy EffectYou'll receive your first Prototype Analyzer upon completing the tutorial, which also guides you on how to use it. To unlock your first character, exit the Acer Program room through the passage on your right, leading to a room with a glowing platform. Interact with the platform to access the character selection menu and choose your preferred character.

Subsequent Prototype Analyzers allow you to revisit this room and use the platform to unlock additional characters. Note that DLC characters, such as Rachel and Hazama (available as of March 2025), are exceptions. These characters are automatically unlocked upon purchasing and installing their respective character packs.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: How To Get More Prototype Analyzers

A prototype in BlazBlue Entropy Effect performing a midair attack*Entropy Effect* offers multiple ways to acquire more Prototype Analyzers, although each method requires time and effort.

Progress the story: As you advance through *BlazBlue Entropy Effect*'s narrative and complete training missions, you'll unlock gray skills. You'll earn a Prototype Analyzer upon reaching specific milestones, such as unlocking 10, 20, and 40 gray skills. Additionally, completing a key event later in the story also grants you one. Unlocking green skills via Potential does not provide Prototype Analyzers. Unless developer 91Act introduces new skills or additional ways to earn these items through story quests, you're limited to obtaining three Prototype Analyzers via this method.

Complete Mind Challenges and spend AP: Another way to obtain Prototype Analyzers is by participating in the Mind Challenge mode. After accumulating Action Points (AP), you can trade them with the janitor for a Prototype Analyzer. However, this isn't a frequent occurrence, as each Prototype Analyzer costs 5,000 AP.
