Author : Daniel Apr 18,2025

The Horizons Celebration event is making a thrilling comeback to Pokémon Go, and it's bringing along some exciting new additions. From April 16th to 22nd, players can dive into the fun with the debut of Tinkatink and its evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton. These charming Pokémon, known for their pink hues and hammer-wielding antics, are ready to smash into the game. Tinkaton, in particular, is famous for its rock-launching prowess against Corviknight, and you can evolve your Tinkatink all the way to Tinkaton with around 125 Candy gathered during the event.

Adding to the excitement, a costumed Floragato donning Liko's pin will be making appearances in the wild, hatching from Eggs, and participating in Raids. Keep an eye out for its Shiny version as well. Other Pokémon like Pikachu sporting Cap's hat and Charcadet may also pop up during your adventures.

A variety of Paldea favorites such as Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi will be roaming the wild areas. Meanwhile, seven km Eggs could hatch familiar faces like Hatenna and Elekid, along with a chance to encounter Tinkatink. Don't miss out on the snapshot surprises; Horizons characters and their Pokémon might just photobomb your pictures.

On the battling front, Pikachu in Cap's hat will come equipped with the powerful move Volt Tackle. Raid battles will feature a diverse lineup including Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and more Floragato. For those looking to maximize their rewards, Team Go Rocket balloons will appear more frequently, Egg hatch distances will be cut in half, and both Shiny encounter rates and Stardust rewards will be boosted.

Engage in Field Research and take advantage of both free and paid Timed Research opportunities, which come with additional rewards like an exclusive avatar pose. To prepare for the event, consider purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99, which offers a range of in-game benefits.
