System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition Renamed System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster, Also Coming to Nintendo Switch

Nightdive Studios has announced a name change and new platform for their modernized version of the 1999 sci-fi horror classic, System Shock 2. Now titled System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster, this enhanced edition will soon launch on Nintendo Switch, in addition to its previously announced platforms.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster will be available on Windows PC (via Steam and GOG), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

The official synopsis:

The year is 2114. Awakening from cryo-sleep aboard the FTL vessel Von Braun, you find yourself suffering from amnesia. Something has gone horribly wrong. Nightdive Studios will reveal the official release date, along with a new trailer, during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase livestream on March 20, 2025.
