- Legend of the Sandfish – The first Side Story in *Split Fiction* is naturally encountered in Chapter 2 after completing the Rush Hour section. You can't miss it.
- Farmlife – Found in Chapter 2's Streets of Neon section. After hopping over a small barrier and before taking the elevators on the left, you'll find this Side Story.
- Mountain Hike – The last Side Story in Chapter 2 is located in the Big City Life section. Once you reach the Port-A-Pottys, have Mio enter one, then use Zoe to throw her to a ledge opposite them with a small ladder. Have Mio drop the ladder to access the Side Story.
- Train Heist – The first Side Story in Chapter 3, found in the Lord Evergreen section. While navigating the water with a plank of wood, reach a ledge by wall running with Mio and Zoe.
- Gameshow – In Chapter 3's Walking Sticks of Doom section, find this Side Story on a platform after the side-scrolling section, requiring some minor platforming to reach.
