For example, work on polishing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 continues. Yesterday, a major patch 1.1 was released, fixing over 1,800 bugs. However, new content for the game remains scarce for now, which developers aim to address in the future. A roadmap revealing upcoming additions is expected to be unveiled in early 2025.
Good news also surfaced for fans of the classic trilogy. A next-gen patch is planned for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone collection on consoles. Details are scarce at the moment. Some updates are also planned for the PC versions—likely bringing modern enhancements to the original games as well.
The developers expressed their hope that players will take the holiday season as an opportunity to start, continue, or complete their journey in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. They also expressed gratitude for the incredible support from fans, describing it as "a miracle of the Zone."
