Heads up: music streaming service Spotify seems to be down this morning. According to IGN's sister site Downdetector, reports of Spotify outages started rolling in around 6 a.m. PT today. These issues have continued to pour in throughout the morning. Our team also experienced difficulties accessing the service, and when we managed to open the app, it wouldn't play music.
Spotify has officially acknowledged the problem and is "working to resolve it as soon as possible." The company has also debunked any rumors suggesting the outage is due to a security hack, confirming that these reports are false.
