Hazelight Studios continues to stand out in the gaming world with its innovative approach to co-op gameplay. Their unique "Friend's Pass" system, requiring only one purchase for two-player experiences, remains a distinctive feature. However, a previous limitation—the absence of crossplay—has been addressed.
Excitingly, Split Fiction will fully support crossplay functionality, as officially confirmed by the developers. The Friend's Pass system returns, meaning only one player needs to buy the game, although both players will require an EA account.
To further enhance accessibility, Hazelight is releasing a playable demo. Progress made in the demo will seamlessly transfer to the full game.
Split Fiction promises diverse environments and a focus on the complexities of human relationships, presented through simple yet engaging mechanics. The game's launch is imminent, set for March 6th, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
