Radiangames has unveiled Speed Demons 2, a side-scrolling highway racer reminiscent of the Burnout series, boasting a similar visual style and high-octane gameplay. Initially a mobile title, this sequel is currently in development for PC and slated for release later this year.
The developers highlight a unique control scheme: "Controls focus on movement, not steering. You'll use gas, brake, and turbo buttons, but control your vehicle's direction by moving the analog stick (or mouse) up and down." They assure players, "It sounds unusual, but it's instantly intuitive."

Speed Demons 2 offers ten game modes, including Pursuit, Takedown, and Rampage—evoking the destructive gameplay of Burnout's Road Rage—where players must eliminate other vehicles within a time limit. The "Scratchless" mode mirrors Burnout's Burning Lap, challenging players to reach the finish line with minimal vehicle damage.
