SimCity BuildIt Celebrates 10 Years with a Blast from the Past and a Trip to Space!
SimCity BuildIt is launching a significant update to commemorate its tenth anniversary. Forget just another building; this update adds a space-themed specialization!
While you won't be constructing in outer space, players level 40 and above can unlock new space-themed structures. This highly-requested feature includes the Space HQ, Astronaut Training Center, and Launchpad, offering veteran SimCity fans exciting new goals.
But that's not all! The new Memory Lane Mayor's Pass takes players on a nostalgic journey, unlocking beloved buildings from previous seasons. The update also includes visual enhancements and graphical improvements, plus a festive holiday event running from December 25th to January 7th.
SimCity BuildIt's longevity is impressive, especially considering its launch during a period often viewed as a low point for the Sims franchise under EA. The addition of the space specialization and visual upgrades are sure to delight loyal players.
