Set in 1960s Japan, Silent Hill f promises a unique setting that diverges from the series' usual backdrop. The story is penned by the acclaimed Japanese writer Ryukishi07, who is best known for the cult classic visual novels Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Umineko no Naku Koro ni. His involvement is sure to bring a distinctive narrative to the game.
KONAMI has hinted that Silent Hill f will refresh the franchise by merging classic psychological survival horror with rich elements of Japanese culture and folklore. This blend is expected to offer fans a new and immersive experience within the Silent Hill universe.
