Sega unleashes a wave of Sonic mobile game updates timed with the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie release! Get ready for fresh content across Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash.
First up, Sonic Forces receives a major update on December 12th, introducing a brand-new Metro-city Zone. This thrilling addition boasts three challenging tracks playable as Movie Sonic, Movie Shadow, and other classic characters. Complete the levels before catching the film for a truly immersive experience!
Next, Sonic Dream Team on Apple Arcade gets its update on December 18th, adding Shadow the Hedgehog as a playable character with unique abilities like Chaos Control and Chaos Shift, allowing time manipulation and environmental control. Unlock him via Tails’ Challenges. New powers like Quick Grind and Perfect Boost enhance gameplay for all characters, while exclusive upgrades, including Double Chaos Shift, boost Shadow's potential. Six new Shadow-themed statues and music tracks, alongside a revamped tutorial, complete this substantial update.
Lastly, Sonic Dash gets its update on December 20th, letting you collect cards to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic. Daily challenges offer extra rewards. Sonic Dash+ on Apple Arcade will receive its Shadow-themed update in January.
