Launching on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro, Saros builds upon the exhilarating gameplay of Housemarque's acclaimed Returnal. Expected in 2026, this new IP stars Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli, promising a fresh narrative and refined mechanics.
Evolving Gameplay: Come Back Stronger
According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros allows Returnal to maintain its unique identity. This new game introduces persistent and customizable loadouts, including weapons and suits, allowing players to strategically "Come Back Stronger" after each encounter. Unlike Returnal's procedurally generated environments, Saros will feature a more permanent world with evolving elements.
