Reignite Hope in Honkai Star Rail Version 3.1 ‘Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne’

Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.1, "Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne," launches February 26th, escalating the Flame-Chase journey into uncharted territories and intriguing mysteries.

New Characters in Honkai Star Rail Version 3.1

Version 3.1 introduces two new 5-star characters: Tribbie and Mydei. Following the securing of Nikador's Coreflame, players explore the new Grove of Epiphany map. The main Trailblaze Mission focuses on rescuing survivors and uncovering the truth behind a catastrophic event, culminating in the retrieval of Cerces' Coreflame to restore hope to Okhema.

The update delves into the Abyss of Fate (formerly Janusopolis), now revealed in its Day State. This exploration unearths the long-lost history of the Era Chrysea and Tribbie's past. Tribbie (Tribios), a demigod and 5-star Quantum Harmony character, is the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis, entrusted with a prophecy of Deliverance.

Mydei, the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos, is a fierce 5-star Imaginary Destruction character. His combat style involves sacrificing HP to power up, entering an enhanced state with automatic enemy attacks during his turns.

Returning Characters and Events

Version 3.1 also features the return of limited 5-star characters Yunli (first half of the warp event) and Huohuo (second half).

The Divergent Universe event returns with a research focus on Amphoreus and a new Day/Night battle system. Combat mechanics change based on the time of day, triggering unique buffs and effects.

The "Awooo Firm" event casts players as managers assisting a chimera squad in Okhema.
