Project NET, a GFL2 Third Person Shooter Spinoff, Opens Pre-Registrations

Project NET, a thrilling third-person shooter spinoff of the popular Girls’ Frontline franchise, has officially opened pre-registration and a limited Shock Point Test. Read on to learn how to participate and discover more about this exciting new addition to the Girls’ Frontline universe.

Project NET: Pre-Registration is Now Open!

The highly anticipated mobile game, Project NET, launched its pre-registration on March 3rd, 2025, as announced via the official South East Asian (SEA) Twitter (X) account.

To join the ranks of pre-registered players, simply visit the official Project NET SEA website and click the "Pre-Register" button. You'll then be prompted to enter your email address and select your preferred platform (iOS or Android). Pre-registration is also open on the official Russian (RU) website.

SEA Shock Point Test: Philippines Only (For Now!)

Alongside pre-registration, Project NET announced a limited beta test, the "Shock Point Test," opening on March 4th, 2025, via the official SEA Twitter (X) account. This test is currently exclusive to players in the Philippines and will be conducted on Android devices. Participation is limited, the test is non-monetized, and all data will be wiped after completion. A similar Shock Point Test will also launch in Russia; details are available on their RU website. Global rollout is planned, with optimization currently underway.

Here's the official SEA Shock Point Test Recruitment Registration schedule:

Following completion of the recruitment questionnaire, successful applicants will receive confirmation emails between March 24th and March 26th, 2025. Further test qualifications will be distributed throughout the testing period, the dates of which are yet to be announced.

Project NET: A Girls’ Frontline Legacy

First unveiled on December 27th, 2024, Project NET, developed by Sunborn Network (the creators of Girls’ Frontline), is poised to expand the universe fans know and love. The game completed its initial localized test in SEA countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines) from January 9th to January 16th, 2025.

Building upon the success of the original Girls’ Frontline (launched in 2016) and its recent sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium (released December 5th, 2024), Project NET promises familiar aesthetics and characters within a fresh, action-packed third-person shooter experience.

While an official release date remains unannounced, Project NET will be available on iOS and Android, mirroring the platforms used during its initial test.
