Pokémon GO's Max Out Season: Dynamax Pokémon Arrive!

Get ready for giant Pokémon! Pokémon GO has officially announced the arrival of Dynamax Pokémon in its upcoming Max Out season. This exciting addition brings a whole new level of battling and catching to the game.

Max Out Season: September 10th - September 15th

The Max Out season runs from September 10th, 10:00 a.m. local time, to September 15th, 8:00 p.m. local time. Prepare for a week of oversized Pokémon action!

Dynamax Pokémon Debut!

The season kicks off with 1-star Max Battles featuring Dynamax versions of:

• Bulbasaur
• Charmander
• Squirtle
• Skwovet
• Wooloo

Catch these Dynamax Pokémon (and their evolutions!), with a chance to snag Shiny variants!

Beyond battling, the Max Out season includes special Field Research tasks and PokéStop Showcases offering event-themed rewards.

Special Research & Max Particles

A new Seasonal Special Research story arrives September 3rd (10:00 a.m. local time) and runs until December 3rd (9:59 a.m. local time). Complete Max Battle-focused tasks to earn Max Particles, a new avatar item, and more.

Max Particle Bundle Available

Stock up on Max Particles! A bundle containing 4,800 Max Particles will be available on the Pokémon GO web store for $7.99, starting September 8th, 6:00 p.m. PDT.

Power Spots on the Horizon?

Rumors point to the arrival of Power Spots next month – key locations for Max Battles, Dynamax Pokémon encounters, and Max Particle collection.

Mega Evolution & Gigantamax Possibilities

Pokémon GO senior producer John Funtanilla hinted at the possibility of some Dynamax Pokémon also being able to Mega Evolve. While Gigantamax Pokémon remain unconfirmed, Niantic promises further details on Dynamax battles soon.
