Pokémon Unite features six ranks, each subdivided into multiple classes. This tiered system allows for gradual progression, with higher ranks containing more classes than lower ones. Crucially, rank progression only occurs through ranked matches; quick or standard matches won't affect your rank.

The Ranks of Pokémon Unite

  • Beginner Rank (3 Classes)
  • Great Rank (4 Classes)
  • Expert Rank (5 Classes)
  • Veteran Rank (5 Classes)
  • Ultra Rank (5 Classes)
  • Master Rank

Getting Started

To enter the ranked fray, you'll need Trainer Level 6, a Fair Play score of 80, and five Pokémon licenses. Once you meet these requirements, you're ready to begin your journey at Beginner Rank.

Performance Points and Diamond Points

Ranked matches reward Performance Points (5-15 points based on performance, plus bonuses for sportsmanship, participation, and winning streaks). Each rank has a Performance Point cap. Reaching this cap earns you one Diamond Point per match, crucial for rank advancement. Here's the breakdown:

  • Beginner Rank: 80 Points
  • Great Rank: 120 Points
  • Expert Rank: 200 Points
  • Veteran Rank: 300 Points
  • Ultra Rank: 400 Points
  • Master Rank: N/A

Advancing and Rewards

Four Diamond Points upgrade your class within a rank. Maxing out your class within a rank propels you to the next rank. You earn one Diamond Point per ranked match win and lose one per loss. Players with maxed Performance Points also earn one Diamond Point per match.

End-of-season rewards include Aeos Tickets, awarded based on your final rank (higher ranks yield more tickets). These tickets are used in the Aeos Emporium. Certain ranks also offer unique seasonal rewards.

So, sharpen your Pokémon skills, strategize your battles, and climb the ranks to dominate the Pokémon Unite arena!
