Pokémon Presents Event Coming Next Week

Author : Oliver Mar 21,2025

Get ready, Pokémon trainers! The Pokémon Company is hosting a Pokémon Presents event next week to celebrate Pokémon Day. The event will stream live on the official Pokémon YouTube channel on February 27th, 2025, at 6 AM Pacific Time (9 AM Eastern Time, 2 PM UK time).

While the exact content remains a mystery, fans eagerly anticipate news about the next mainline Pokémon game, currently shrouded in secrecy. Although a spin-off, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, is slated for release in 2025, the next core generation of Pokémon games is yet to be announced.

The Pokémon Presents event will likely feature updates on existing titles, including Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, Pokémon Masters EX, and the recently launched Pokémon TCG Pocket. We can also expect news regarding the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game.

Last year's Pokémon Presents, held around the same time, unveiled Pokémon Legends: Z-A, announced Tera Raid Battles for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and revealed the mobile adaptation of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Interestingly, 2024 marked a unique year—it featured only one Pokémon Presents and was the first year since 2015 without a new mainline Pokémon game release. This year's event promises to be even more exciting!
