Pokémon Center Hiroshima Relocates, Unveils Gyarados Plaza

Pokémon Center Hiroshima will temporarily close in March 2025, reopening at a new location in April 2025. A new Gyarados Plaza will also debut in March.

New Location for Pokémon Center Hiroshima

The store will move to the second floor of Ekie, the north exit of Hiroshima Station. Currently located on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, the store's move marks a significant change since its opening in June 2015.

Gyarados Plaza Opens at Hiroshima Station

The "Gyarados Plaza by Pokémon Center Hiroshima" will open March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza within the new Minamoa building at Hiroshima Station. This playground features large Gyarados-themed play equipment. Advance reservations will be required for a limited time after its launch. Details will be available on the official Minamoa website.

Nationwide "Poke-lun TV" Event

To celebrate "Poke-lun TV" surpassing 1 million subscribers, Pokémon Centers across Japan (including Hiroshima, before its closure) will host a nationwide event. Fans can receive an original sticker with a password obtained from a specific "Poke-lun TV" YouTube video (posted December 19, 2024).

Select Pokémon Centers (Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa) will also feature photo opportunities with "Poke-lun TV" hosts. The event runs January 17, 2025, to February 16, 2025. This event excludes Pokémon Stores, Pokémon Center Online, Pokémon Cafés, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokémon Café.
