How to Get Fidough & Dachsbun in Pokémon GO
Fidough and Dachsbun first appeared in Pokémon GO during the Fidough Fetch event (January 4th - 8th, 2025). Fidough was available as a wild spawn, alongside other canine Pokémon. It could also be obtained via Field Research Tasks and Collection Challenges.
Players could also acquire Fidough or Dachsbun through trading with other Trainers. Online Pokémon GO communities (like Reddit or Discord) are excellent resources for finding trading partners.
Since Dachsbun doesn't appear in the wild, Trainers needed to either trade for it or evolve a Fidough using 50 Candies. Evolving your strongest Fidough is recommended, as Dachsbun is a capable battler useful in future events, PvP, and NPC battles.
Can Fidough & Dachsbun Be Shiny in Pokémon GO?
As of the Dual Destiny season, shiny Fidough and Dachsbun were not available. However, future events may introduce shiny variants, as is common with Pokémon GO. Until then, Trainers will have to wait for a future opportunity.
