Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Dates, Locations, and More!
Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the information.
Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration
The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza taking place in three distinct locations across different dates in June:
- Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
- Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
- Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th
Further details regarding specific in-game events and activities will be revealed in March 2025. Remember that event details are subject to change, but we'll keep you updated.
This annual event offers exclusive items, unique gameplay, and exciting bonuses for trainers worldwide. In-person events provide a truly immersive experience, with location-specific features and opportunities to connect with fellow trainers. Tickets are required for both in-person and online participation.
Expect to encounter rare Pokémon unavailable through standard gameplay, increased Shiny Pokémon rates, and location-specific Pokémon habitats. In-person attendees will also enjoy exclusive merchandise, themed sets, community hubs, and team lounges. While specifics are still under wraps, expect a similar format to previous years' events.
Two More Pokémon GO Events in January!
In addition to the Pokémon GO Fest announcement, Niantic revealed two more exciting events for January 2025:
Fashion Week: Taken Over: This event runs from January 15th, 12:00 pm to January 19th, 8:00 pm (local time). Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni! Shroodle and Grafaiai debut, hatching from 12 km Eggs. Other Shadow Pokémon like Snivy and Tepig will also appear. Keep an eye out for a fashionably dressed Croagunk in your snapshots!
Shadow Raid Day: On January 19th, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (local time), participate in Five-Star Shadow Raids to catch Shadow Ho-Oh! A $5 USD ticket grants eight extra Raid Passes, increased chances for Rare Candy XL, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raid Battles. There's also a boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate, and lucky trainers can teach their captured Ho-Oh the signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
