Pokémon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over – A Style Statement with Shadowy Encounters!
Get ready for a stylish showdown in Pokémon GO! Fashion Week: Taken Over runs from January 15th to 19th, bringing a blend of high fashion and intense battles. This event offers a unique opportunity to challenge Giovanni and rescue Shadow Palkia. But that's not all! Shadow Ho-Oh will also be available during a special Shadow Raid Day on January 19th.
Two new Pokémon, Shroodle and Grafaiai, make their debut! Shroodle can be hatched from 12 km Eggs. Prepare for increased Team GO Rocket activity at PokéStops and in balloons, providing ample chances to utilize Charged TMs and remove the Frustration move from your Shadow Pokémon.
New Shadow Pokémon join the fray, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Keep an eye out for Shiny variations! For the first time, Remote Raid Passes are accepted for these Shadow Raids, allowing participation from anywhere.
A special research task will reward you with a Super Rocket Radar, leading to the Giovanni battle and the rescue of Shadow Palkia. Field Research tasks offer rewards like Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Completing a Collection Challenge grants Stardust and a Trubbish encounter.

Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day takes place on Sunday, January 19th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This event features bonus Raid Passes, increased Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rates, and the chance for Ho-Oh to learn the powerful Sacred Fire Charged Attack. A $5 event ticket unlocks even more rewards.
