Nishino, a Sony veteran since 2000, previously served as SVP, Platform Experience Group. In his new role, he will oversee all SIE operations and lead the platform business group. Hermen Hulst will continue as head of PlayStation Studios.

"I am deeply honored to lead Sony Interactive Entertainment," Nishino stated. "Our focus remains on delivering exceptional entertainment experiences through technological innovation and creative excellence. We will continue expanding the PlayStation community and pushing the boundaries of technology. I express my sincere gratitude to Hermen for his continued leadership and to the PlayStation community for their unwavering support."
