It also boasts a peak HDR brightness of around 1,000 nits for full-screen whites and well over 1,000 nits for highlights, making it ideal for HDR gaming. Additionally, it uses quantum dots for enhanced color coverage, perfect for creators.

The secret to this monitor's performance is its mini-LED backlight with 1,152 local dimming zones, about twice as many as its nearest competitor. This allows it to perform alongside gaming monitors costing much more. While there is some blooming, it's reduced compared to other monitors in this price range, and the blacks are deep and rich, with highlights and colors that truly pop. The experience is remarkably close to OLED without the associated risks.

To achieve its low price, it sacrifices some extras. There's no built-in USB hub or KVM, and gaming features are minimal within its OSD. If you need the highest color accuracy, a calibration cycle with a colorimeter is recommended. Despite these minor limitations, this monitor offers incredible value.
