Sword of Convallaria's Night Crimson Update: New Story, Characters, and Events!
XD Inc. has unleashed the Night Crimson update for its popular tactical RPG, Sword of Convallaria. Millions have already downloaded the game since its July launch, and this expansion delivers a wealth of new content, including engaging events, valuable rewards, and innovative gameplay mechanics.
Continuing the Spiral of Destinies campaign, the update introduces a captivating new storyline in Waverun City featuring investigative clue wall gameplay. This unique mechanic blends detective work with tactical combat, demanding strategic choices as you unravel mysteries under the guidance of Safiyyah, the Mobile Squad's leader.
Night Crimson also debuts SP Characters – alternate versions of existing characters with unique appearances and combat skills. SP Rawiyah arrives January 3rd, followed by SP Taair on January 17th. Unlocking their SP forms grants an exclusive SP skill, boosting the combat prowess of both the original and SP versions.
The Night Crimson events (launched December 20th) offer a treasure trove of rewards. Complete events to earn Secret Fates, legendary trinkets, and exclusive avatar frames. The Waverun Tournament, starting January 3rd, allows you to exchange event points for special items, giving you a competitive advantage.
This update also offers a behind-the-scenes look at the game's development, including developer messages hinting at future content and a video message from Safiyyah's Japanese voice actor. A new theme song, "Never Apart," is also included, featuring a Japanese version by Hikasa Yoko.
