Mortal Kombat Mobile is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a massive update from Warner Bros International and NetherRealm Studios, set to launch on March 25th. This update introduces new fighters, a revamped Faction Wars mode, a new challenge tower, and a plethora of anniversary rewards.
Celebrate 10 Years of Brutal, Fast-Paced Kombat!
The spotlight of this update shines on MK1 Geras, who joins the game as a new diamond-tier fighter. With abilities ranging from power absorption to healing and damage reflection, Geras can be unlocked through Realm Klash rewards or the Kombat Pass. Another exciting addition is Klassic Skarlet, the first gold-tier fighter capable of being fully ascended to Level 5. She features unblockable attacks, a new Gash debuff, and the ability to steal blood droplets from enemies. Skarlet can be obtained via the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or the regular Kombat Pass.
The revamped Faction Wars, now known as Realm Klash, offers players the chance to choose from five different realms and compete for Realm Points over two-week seasons, moving beyond the traditional fight for Blood Rubies.
Mortal Kombat Mobile's 10th Anniversary update also introduces new ranks: Elder God, God, and Demi God. Blood Ruby Packs now feature fresh Kameo offers along with MK1 Geras rewards. The mode has received a visual overhaul, new banners, leaderboards, and fixes for previous exploits.
New Challenges Await in the Mortal Kombat Mobile 10th Anniversary
The new Tower of Time is an extreme test, running as a limited-time event for two weeks with only 50 floors. Players can collect seven new Tower of Time equipment pieces, along with Brutality equipment sets for MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras. A Fusion Boost modifier also enhances the lowest fused card in your team, helping to balance the gameplay. Alongside the new tower, the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are returning.
To celebrate this milestone, starting April 1st, players will receive a free copy of each character featured in the anniversary promo every day for 10 days. Additionally, three gold-tier fighters, Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke, are now eligible for ascension.
