Marvel Rivals Season 1 introduces new characters, maps, modes, and challenges, including one requiring you to trigger Recursive Destruction. This guide explains how to complete this challenge in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown.
What is Recursive Destruction?
Recursive Destruction in Marvel Rivals occurs when you destroy a Dracula-influenced object, and it reappears in its original state. Not all destructible objects trigger this; you need to identify the correct ones.
Locating Destructible Objects
Use Chrono Vision (keyboard "B" or console right D-pad) to highlight destructible objects. Only objects highlighted in red will trigger Recursive Destruction.
Completing the Challenge in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown
This challenge is only achievable in the Quick Match (Midtown) mode. Wait until the first checkpoint; two buildings will then appear, highlighted in red, that will trigger Recursive Destruction when destroyed. Destroy each building multiple times to ensure you complete the challenge. The action may be fast-paced, making it difficult to see the objects reappear, but repeated strikes should suffice. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match.
After completing this challenge, focus on subsequent challenges, such as trying out Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
