NetEase Games recently dropped exciting details about Marvel Rivals' Season 1, including a new battle pass, maps, and a fresh game mode. Following the conclusion of Season 0, anticipation for Season 1 is high. A new developer video blog, released ahead of the January 10th, 1 AM PST launch, reveals all.
The Fantastic Four Arrive!
Season 1 kicks off with the arrival of Mister Fantastic (Duelist) and The Invisible Woman (Strategist). Seasons will run approximately three months, with The Thing and Human Torch joining the roster six to seven weeks into Season 1. The Baxter Building will also feature prominently in a new map.
New Content: Maps, Mode, and Battle Pass
The developer video, Volume 3 of their Dev Vision series, confirms the addition of new maps, a game mode, and a battle pass. The battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice, offers 10 new skins and a reward of 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion.
A thrilling new game mode, "Doom Match," debuts alongside the "Empire of the Eternal Night: Sanctum Sanctorum" map. This arcade-style mode pits 8-12 players against each other, with the top 50% declared victorious.
