Marvel Contest of Champions: Dark Phoenix Saga, New Champions, and Eidols Arrive!

Get ready for major updates in Marvel Contest of Champions! Kabam is launching the Dark Phoenix Saga, introducing powerful new Champions, and debuting a revolutionary character type: Eidols. This month also features a special event celebrating the game's formidable female Champions, giving players a voice in an upcoming Champion rework.

Jean Grey and Bastion are the newest additions to the roster, bringing their unique abilities and a compelling new storyline. Jean Grey joins the fight on March 13th, followed by Bastion on the 27th. The Dark Phoenix Saga begins March 3rd, challenging Jean Grey and the X-Men against formidable foes in a thrilling new quest.

Expanding the game's lore, more Eidols are joining the fray, continuing the Founders storyline. Following the arrival of Isophyne in December 2024, three more Eidols will be introduced throughout 2025, each with a unique acquisition method. Lumatrix, the next Eidol, arrives March 5th and will be available until June 4th.

Lumatrix, a master infiltrator created by The Founders, possesses exceptional spying, sabotage, and assassination skills. Built from ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix commands extraordinary light manipulation powers. While seemingly dazzling, this Eidol is a ruthless weapon designed for stealthy eliminations.

March also celebrates the powerful women of the Contest! Kabam has teamed up with seven female developers and content creators, each representing a Champion. Players can vote on which Champion will receive a 2025 rework by completing Solo Objectives and Realm Events.
