The sneak peek offers a glimpse at several new cards, along with various art variations. Today's reveal also highlights some unique features of the set, including the introduction of Summons. These are part of Magic's first-ever Saga creatures, allowing players to summon aid in battle, as seen with the Summon: Shiva card in the gallery. Additionally, double-faced cards make a comeback, exemplified by Cecil's dual nature as both a Dark Knight and a Redeemed Paladin.
The Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creature cards, including 55 legendary borderless cards illustrated by fan-favorite artists from the Final Fantasy series. This set is designed to be fully draftable and Standard-legal, and it will launch alongside four preconstructed Commander decks. Each deck is themed around a different Final Fantasy game: 6, 7, 10, and 14. These decks will contain 100 cards each, featuring a mix of new Final Fantasy cards and existing cards with new Final Fantasy-themed art. Mark your calendars for the set's release on June 13.
