One More Level, the studio behind the acclaimed Ghostrunner franchise, has revealed a new project: Cyber Slash. Known for their fast-paced, brutal action games set in cyberpunk worlds, One More Level is taking a sharp turn with this new title.
While currently working on two projects – Cyber Slash and Project Swift (slated for a 2028 release) – the recently unveiled artwork strongly suggests a focus on Cyber Slash.

Cyber Slash offers a unique twist on history, transporting players to an alternate 19th century, a dark and epic reimagining of the Napoleonic era. Expect legendary heroes battling unknown forces and confronting terrifying threats.
Gameplay will retain some familiar elements from One More Level's previous work, emphasizing challenging action and precision. While parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses will remain crucial, the protagonist will undergo a unique evolution through mutations throughout the game, setting it apart from traditional Souls-like mechanics. The Ghostrunner games averaged 81% and 79% (first installment) and 80% and 76% (sequel) across critic and player reviews, suggesting a high bar for Cyber Slash to meet.
