This exclusive event will provide players with a detailed look at the upcoming Early Access phase, including pricing, DLC plans, the game's development roadmap, and answers to community questions. A key feature of inZOI is its unique global karma system. Players profoundly influence the game world through their actions, impacting their characters' personal karma scores. Upon a character's death, their accumulated karma determines their afterlife. Negative karma results in becoming a ghost, requiring atonement before reincarnation. An overabundance of ghosts disrupts the natural life cycle, halting childbirth and transforming the settlement into a hauntingly eerie place.
Game director Hyunjun Kim clarifies that the karma system isn't about rigid morality or restricting player freedom. Instead, it encourages exploration of life's complexities. "Life cannot simply be divided into 'good' and 'bad'," Kim explains. "Each life has its own significance and value. We hope players will use the karma system in inZOI to create diverse stories and experiences, exploring the multifaceted nature of existence."
