Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and a Host of New Content on January 10th

Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! NetEase Games has unveiled exciting new additions arriving on January 10th at 1 AM PST with Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls. The highlight is the arrival of the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, joining the roster as a new Strategist class.

A recently released gameplay video showcases Invisible Woman's unique abilities. Her primary attack combines damage to enemies with healing for allies, while a knockback mechanism keeps her at a safe distance. She boasts invisibility, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and the capacity to deploy a protective shield for teammates. Her ultimate ability creates a zone of invisibility, disrupting ranged attacks.

Alongside Invisible Woman, Mister Fantastic also makes his debut in Season 1. A separate gameplay trailer reveals his abilities, suggesting a hybrid Duelist/Vanguard playstyle with above-average health for a DPS character. He utilizes stretching attacks and a self-buff to increase durability.

Season 1 also introduces new maps and a fresh game mode, along with a new battle pass. While Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are launching with Season 1, Human Torch and The Thing will arrive later in a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch. NetEase Games has confirmed that full seasons will run for about three months.

The main antagonist for Season 1 will be Dracula. While the absence of Blade, whose in-game assets have been datamined, might disappoint some, the overall excitement for the new content remains high. Fans eagerly anticipate future updates from NetEase Games.

In short: January 10th brings Invisible Woman, Mister Fantastic, new maps, a new game mode, a new battle pass, and Dracula as the Season 1 antagonist to Marvel Rivals. Human Torch and The Thing will follow in a mid-season update.
