Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 8: A Deep Dive into New Content!
Season 8 of Hearthstone Battlegrounds has arrived, bringing exciting new additions and changes to the game. Get ready for new Trinkets, heroes, minions, and spells!
Trinkets: The New Power-Ups
The biggest addition is Trinkets – powerful new upgrades! There are 56 Lesser Trinkets and 60 Greater Trinkets, with some offering multiple benefits. You'll receive four options to choose from on turns 6 and 9, tailored to your current hero and board state (Elementals, Dragons, Murlocs, etc.).
Marin the Manager: The New Hero
Meet Marin the Manager, the newest Battlegrounds hero! Marin provides a significant advantage by granting you an extra Trinket a turn early.
Minions, Spells, and a Little Housecleaning
Season 8 also includes a minion refresh. While 41 minions are rotating out, 22 fan favorites are returning, joined by 27 brand-new minions and 2 exciting Tavern spells.
Four notable new cards include:
- Free Travel Winner (Tier 2): A 2/2 minion that disappears after combat, rewarding you with a Triple Reward.
- Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4): Strengthens your lower-tier minions.
- Lucky Egg (Tier 5): Transforms into a Golden Tier 3 minion.
- Sun Screener (Tier 6): A 10/1 minion granting Divine Shield to your three leftmost minions and your opponent's.
Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt Event
From August 27th to September 17th, participate in the Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt event! Complete event quests to earn a total of 14 card packs, including those from Perils in Paradise and Whizbang's Workshop.
