Entry Requirements:
- Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
- Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. While not mandatory, completing Xianyun's Story Quest "Grus Serena Chapter" adds context and introduces Shuyu.
Gameplay Mechanics:
This event features simulated beetle battles within your Serenitea Pot on Mt. Aocang. You control an Onikabuto beetle using simple controls: Forward, Backward, and Jump. Mastering timing and stamina management is key, as movement and attacks consume stamina. Powerful attacks, like Piercing Strike (hold attack button), require significant stamina.
Battling the Beetles:
The five stages present unique challenges:
- Staff Master (Basic Hilichurl): Repeated head attacks are effective. Dodge ground markings indicating attacks.
- Torch-Wielding Berserker (Hilichurl Berserker): Target the head; the Pyro Slime it carries is also a vulnerable point.
- Pyro Abyss Mage: Interrupt its fire spellcasting, then attack relentlessly. Dodge fireballs and flame pillars.
- Cryo Abyss Mage: Employ the same strategy as the Pyro Abyss Mage.
- Stonehide Lawachurl: A fast-paced battle; watch for attacks. A Geo Slime will appear; use Piercing Strike for optimal damage.
Difficulty and Strategy:
Choose "Focused Fight" (two-star difficulty) for optimal Primogem rewards (30-20 per stage). "Utmost Might" (three-star) offers Mora and Enhancement Ores but no Primogems. Utilize Piercing Strikes strategically. Consult the "Dossier on Opponent" for enemy attack patterns. Co-op mode allows teaming up with other players.
Rewards:
Complete all stages on Utmost Might difficulty for a total of 420 Primogems. Additional rewards include Hero's Wit, Sanctifying Unction, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore.
