Genshin Impact Officially Reveals Yumemizuki Mizuki for Version 5.4

Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst

Version 5.4 of Genshin Impact introduces Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo Catalyst character hailing from Inazuma. Mizuki's design and abilities have been highly anticipated since late 2024, with leaks suggesting her role as Inazuma's first Standard Banner character. Beta testing confirmed this, revealing her kit and gameplay style.

Mizuki's gameplay is comparable to Sucrose, but with added healing capabilities. This makes her a versatile addition to many team compositions, particularly Taser teams, although Sucrose may still excel in specific niches. Her 5-Star rarity elevates her potential significantly compared to Sucrose.

The official reveal, slightly delayed from the expected drip marketing schedule, showcased Mizuki's dual identity as both a tapir yokai and a psychologist, the majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse. Her established friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests a prominent role in Version 5.4's Inazuma-focused Flagship Event, centered around yokai. A dedicated Story Quest for Mizuki is also planned for this update.

Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:

  • Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Vision: Anemo
  • Weapon: Catalyst
  • Constellation: Tapirus Somniator

Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Importantly, Mizuki will transition to the Standard Banner post-Version 5.4, prompting collectors to prioritize obtaining her Signature Weapon.

A Smaller-Scale Update:

Unlike the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 offers a more streamlined experience. It features only one new character (Mizuki), a single Story Quest, no new Artifact Domain, and no map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem rewards will be lower than usual. Players aiming for characters like Furina or Wriothesley from Fontaine should consider saving their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4.
