Genshin Impact's Natlan Archon Quest nears its conclusion, unveiling lore speculated since the game's inception and evolving combat mechanics. Each nation features two weekly bosses, and the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire presents a significant challenge. This fearsome dual-sword wielding dragon embodies the original Natlan ruler, its appearance amplified by the Abyss's influence. Similar to Inazuma's Riftwolves, it inflicts a Corrosion effect, demanding strategic combat. While difficult, victory is achievable. This guide details how to defeat the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire.

Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

The Lord of Eroded Primal Fire resides within the Stone Stele Records domain, south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. Located in a shrine commemorating Natlan's fallen, this domain offers standard rewards using 30 Original Resin for the first three weekly bosses.

Access requires completing the Archon Quest's final chapter: "When All Becomes A Monument." Alternatively, use the Quick Challenge option in the Adventurer's Handbook.

How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

Success heavily relies on Natlan characters like Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, and Mualani. The Lord of Eroded Primal Fire, while mostly stationary, summons three Pillars and three Tenebrous Mimiflora. Nightsoul Blessing characters significantly aid in their destruction.

Make Sure To Destroy The Three Pillars With Nightsoul Blessing

While possible with other characters, Natlan characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Kinich, or Kachina drastically reduce pillar destruction time, preventing the devastating Eroded Meteor strike. Breaking the pillars immobilizes the dragon for approximately 10 seconds, creating a crucial damage window. However, even with speed, the meteor may initiate. In this case, immediately equip a shield and switch to a healer to mitigate the corrosion effect's significant damage. Without a shield, a one-shot kill is possible even at full HP.

Healers like Furina and Kokomi are highly effective; Kuki, Barbara, and Bennett offer viable alternatives.

Try Your Best To Dodge Or Stay Underneath The Dragon

Dodging is challenging due to unpredictable attacks. The dragon transforms into smoke, obscuring its movements and attacks (sword slashes and smashes). Battlefield reduction further complicates dodging. When this occurs, stay close and attack from underneath, while remaining cautious and using consistent healing to counteract the Eroded Dragon Breath's corrosion. This attack, involving impaled swords, inflicts Pyro and Erosion damage, requiring strong shielding and healing. If overwhelmed, retreat to the dragon's hands, where the breath attack doesn't reach. Constant healing is crucial to survive the sword slashes and Erosion effect.

A dedicated healer is essential for victory.

Co-Op Mode and Matching

Co-op mode offers assistance, particularly during the pillar phase, even without Natlan characters. Use the "Match" button to join another player's world for easier combat. While lacking multiple phases, the fight demands significant time investment.
