Freedom Wars Remastered: Mastering the Cell Garden

Quick Links

The Cell Garden is a crucial location within your Panopticon, encountered early in Freedom Wars Remastered's main storyline. Beyond its narrative role, it serves as a safe and efficient resource farming area. Multiple Cell Gardens exist throughout the game, each accessed in the same manner regardless of your current level. This guide explains how to locate and utilize these valuable farming spots.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered

Your initial encounter with the Cell Garden stems from Mattias's request to investigate a ghost girl story. To begin your search, head to Level 2: 2-A000, the main cell block. In the left corner, you'll find a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with it to access 2-E165, the same area where you previously encountered Enzo.

From 2-E165, follow the right-hand wall to another small room containing a device leading to 2-G100. Repeat this process one last time; the far room in 2-G100 houses the device that finally unlocks the Cell Garden.

This pathway to the Cell Garden remains consistent across all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces travel time. After completing the main quest involving the Cell Garden, you'll gain access at any time, but consider acquiring the Quick-Travel Entitlement first for improved efficiency.

Each device leading to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.

How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered

The Cell Garden's function differs slightly during the main story mission compared to subsequent visits. Here's how it operates outside of the main quest:

  • You have a one-minute time limit before being ejected.
  • The room's layout changes each visit.
  • Eight resource orbs (small green orbs) are scattered throughout the room.

To extend your time within the Cell Garden, purchase Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. Some layouts present more complex puzzles, making time extensions particularly beneficial. The first upgrade, granting a two-minute limit, becomes available upon reaching CODE level 3.
