Final Fantasy XIV's Free Login Campaign Returns!
Square Enix has re-launched its popular Free Login Campaign for Final Fantasy XIV, giving players with inactive accounts a chance to return to Eorzea for a limited time. This campaign runs until February 6th, 2025, offering eligible players four consecutive days of free gameplay on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
The campaign's timing coincides nicely with the recent release of Patch 7.15, which introduced new side quests, including the continuation of the Hildibrand storyline and a new Custom Delivery client. Furthermore, producer and director Naoki Yoshida's recent New Year's message confirmed upcoming Patches 7.2 and 7.3 for 2025, along with smaller content updates, and hinted at future developments in the Dawntrail main storyline.
Eligibility requirements remain consistent with previous campaigns. Players must have a purchased and registered Final Fantasy XIV account that has been inactive for at least 30 days prior to the campaign's start (January 9th, 2025). Accounts suspended or terminated for violating terms of service are ineligible. Eligibility can be verified via the Mog Station.
The four-day playtime timer begins upon logging into the game launcher. While the campaign is active, players can also participate in the Heavensturn event (until January 16th) and anticipate Patch 7.16 (releasing January 21st), which concludes the Dawntrail Role Quest series. This provides returning players a perfect opportunity to catch up on recent content before the arrival of Patch 7.2.
