February 2025 Pokémon GO Event Calendar Revealed

February 2025 is packed with exciting events for *Pokémon GO* enthusiasts, featuring everything from the Lunar New Year festivities to the debut of Dynamax Moltres and a special Community Day for Karrablast & Shelmet. Here's a detailed rundown of all the events scheduled for this month:

Lunar New Year Event: January 29 – February 2

The Lunar New Year 2025 event, running until February 2 at 8:00 PM local time, is a fantastic opportunity for Pokémon GO players to immerse themselves in the celebration of the Chinese New Year. As we celebrate the Year of the Snake, the event features increased spawn rates for snake-themed Pokémon:

The Legendary Flight event concludes with the debut of Dynamax Moltres from February 3 to 9. On February 3, between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM, Moltres will be available as a Max Monday boss at all Power Spots. After this initial hour, Moltres will remain available but at fewer Power Spots, sharing the spotlight with Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble until February 10. Players may need to explore their local areas to find Moltres, but there's ample time to catch this legendary firebird.

Karrablast & Shelmet Community Day: February 9

On Sunday, February 9, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, Pokémon GO players can participate in a special dual Community Day for Karrablast and Shelmet. This event offers increased encounters and Candy for both Pokémon, along with evolution bonuses and better chances of finding Shinies. Evolving Karrablast or Shelmet by February 16, 2025, at 10:00 PM will grant players an Escavalier with the Charged Attack Razor Shell or an Accelgor with Energy Ball, respectively. For those looking to enhance their experience, a premium Timed Research option is available for US$2.00 (or equivalent in local currency).

Beloved Buddies: February 11 – 15

The Road to Unova event, leading up to the Pokémon GO Tour Unova: Global event in March, kicks off on February 18 at 10:00 AM and runs through March 1. This extensive event marks the debut of Shiny Meloetta, features numerous Raids with Gen-5 Legendaries, and boosts the spawn rate of Unovan starter Pokémon. Players can also access premium Timed Research and various bonuses to enhance their gameplay.
