April is set to be a thrilling month for Marvel Contest of Champions (MCOC) fans, with the introduction of the new champion, Spider-Woman. Jessica Drew, known as Spider-Woman, has a fascinating origin story. Born in a uranium-rich area, she fell ill due to exposure. In a bid to save her, her father, a brilliant geneticist, conducted an experimental treatment by injecting her with spider DNA. After a long recovery, Jessica not only overcame the illness but also emerged with unique spider powers, transforming her into Spider-Woman. Players can add her to their roster starting April 17th.
Before Spider-Woman makes her debut, another intriguing character, Lumatrix, will join the game on April 9th. Designed by the Founders, Lumatrix stands out as one of the most lethal assassins, equipped with dazzling light-based powers for infiltration and elimination missions.
