Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test Opens Tomorrow for Signups

Elden Ring Nightreign's First Network Test: Sign-Ups Open January 10th

Get ready, Tarnished! The first network test for Elden Ring Nightreign begins accepting registrations on January 10th, 2025. This limited beta will run sometime in February 2025 and is exclusively available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is a cooperative Soulsborne experience set in The Lands Between, designed for three-player parties. The full game is slated for a 2025 release.

This initial network test serves as a crucial step in preparing the game for launch. While the exact number of participants remains undisclosed, interested players should register promptly via the official website starting January 10th. Spaces are likely limited.

How to Register:

  1. Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website on or after January 10th.
  2. Register, specifying your preferred platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
  3. Await a confirmation email (arriving no later than February 2025).
  4. Participate in the February 2025 network test.

Platform Limitations:

A key limitation: this beta is only available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. This excludes PS4, Xbox One, and PC players, representing less than half of the game's planned platforms. Cross-platform play is not supported, meaning players will only be matched with others on the same console.

Progress made during the network test is not expected to carry over to the final game. Further beta tests may be announced later.

Gameplay Restrictions:

Beyond platform limitations, Elden Ring Nightreign features inherent network restrictions. The game supports solo play and three-player parties only; two-player parties are not supported. Additional gameplay restrictions for the network test have not yet been detailed.
