It seems that the excitement surrounding the upcoming Developer_Direct is tinged with a bit of a spoiler, as the release date for the highly anticipated game, DOOM: The Dark Ages, appears to have been accidentally revealed. The French gaming site, Gamekult, prematurely published an article stating that the game is set to launch on May 15. Although the article was swiftly removed, eagle-eyed fans noticed it in the site's RSS feed, as seen in the screenshot below.

This leak aligns with earlier reports from insider NateTheHate, who had previously mentioned that DOOM: The Dark Ages would be released this May. With two separate sources pointing to a similar release window, it seems that the cat might be out of the bag.
Microsoft is set to officially unveil DOOM: The Dark Ages during its Developer_Direct presentation this Thursday. The game is a prequel to the modern DOOM dilogy and, despite its medieval theme, promises to maintain the series' signature brutal gameplay as players take on the forces of Hell.
Stay tuned for more updates, and don't miss the Developer_Direct to see what else Microsoft has in store for gamers.
